Steeped in a rich hunting tradition the Rathcormac Gun Club has thrived and flourished since its inception in 1971. Through the years the club has gone from strength to strength and has become an intricate part of the country and community life in the village of Rathcormac, Co. Cork, which is nestled on the banks of the river Bride.

The club participates in the sport of rough shooting, deer stalking, water-fowling, pigeon shooting, and clay shooting.

The main aim of the Rathcormac Gun Club is promoting sporting excellence and developing sustainable shooting in the community. We work closely with the local farmers and landowners and they assist us in any way possible with our annual game release programmes, conservation projects and the sowing of game-crops.
